Did anyone get dressed up in costume for Halloween?
And if so, what was your costume?
I had planned to dress up as Catherine the Great (what else can a GemPrincess be at Halloween?).
Had all my pearls and tiara's out, long velvet dress, etc, all set to go, and then Along Came Sandy, and our party was canceled!
Awe, that's too bad. Sounds like you would have walked away with a prize, too. I went as a government IT Analyst. I should of at least taken advantage of the dress up day and wore jeans! Oh well, there's always casual Friday. Really hope you are fairing well. Jersey took a major hit.
Sorry to hear about your Halloween!
Have never done anything on Halloween since I was a kid, however, I think I am in the Halloween "Capital" and that is Park City, Utah. Today this place was wild! They closed the main street and really did it up! The Marriott Summit Watch, was a great place to be, because a lot of this was right out my room.
Will do a special post on this subject!
As Pluto said, "Glad you and loved ones are safe"!
I didn't get to dress up tonight because it is pouring down rain. I had to go get ice right at dusk and was really surprised to see trick-or-treaters out on our street when I got home. There were about 5-6 adults, all in dark clothes, with dark umbrellas, standing in the middle of the street. I guess they really had a sweet-tooth!
I have my black witch hat on, witch's brew in hand, porch decorated, lights and streaming Halloween music playing on Pandora. Have to spend the evening on the porch in order to run interference between the door bell and barking doglets (Daschunds). It's always fun and thankfully good weather. My husband insisted that we didn't have enough candy. He is quite wrong.
Hope you stay dry!
We had the torrential rains here on Wednesday and Thursday that razorbackfan had last evening so much of our Halloween events (adults in the street) was cancelled by Tuesday night.....always tonight!
