Jerry has a good point. If you share your destination, we can zone in on some options.
Here are a few things to consider.
1) Is price an issue? If so, some Marriott brands are typically more economical than others.
2) How long is the trip? One day trips are significantly different than multiple week trips. Even 5 days can have an influence on my decision.
3) What type of room and amenities are important?
Some brands, Residence Inns and Towneplace Suites are designed for the longer stays. All suites, larger rooms, often full kitchens, are available at these brands. The ability to keep drinks and leftovers cold can be an advantage.
Some brands, Marriott, JW, and Renaissance, will often have restaurants and bars on property. Some find this a nice advantage. They normally will have less suites and fewer in room amenities, but they be fine for some.
