We're going to West Palm Beach in a couple weeks and would appreciate any ideas of where to go and what to see and do, restaurant suggestions, etc. We're staying at the Marriott Ocean Pointe timeshare.
We stayed there for a presentation a few years ago. We enjoyed the "water taxi", which is more like a tour of rich people's backyards. It's tacky, but it gives you a feel for the region, a little history. It's like a "houses of the stars" bus tour in hollywood, but instead of stars, it's old rich people's houses, and it's in a boat
There's a really nice shopping region with a trolley that takes you throughout, which can be a fun time. The water taxi can take you to that area, then pick you up later, or you can easily drive.
For dining, we really enjoyed a meal at Testa's. There are some neat shops around there, and you can kinda see "The Breakers" off in the distance, which is kinda neat.
We also had a photo session with the on-site photographer, who did an excellent job.
I'm sure there's a lot more to see, but we were only there for a few days, and found it to be very enjoyable. I hope you have a great time.
P.S. The concierge people there know their stuff, so you might want to hit them up for ideas when you get there.
