Over the years that we have been making our annual USA visits, we have regularly selected Fairfield Inns as our hotel of choice for the stop-overs on our journeys.
When planning a journey, FFI is the first Marriott brand that I look for. I have always found the price to be reasonable, parking free, a pleasant and plentiful breakfast provided, courteous staff, and comfortable and un-cluttered rooms. Just what we need when we are travelling.
Looking back to our 2011 tour around Georgia, SC, NC, Virginia and Tennessee, we stayed 5 FFI hotels ... Atlanta Airport South, Jacksonville NC, Christiansburg, Gatlinburg and Nashville Opryland ... all consistently made us welcome and gave great service. I have just booked Fredericksburg for an overnight on our way from Dulles to Ford Colony, Williamsburg ... we've stayed there once before and have no doubt service will be up to the usual high standard.
Thanks Jerry, I know that is an open offer and look forward to taking you guys up on it at some stage. We are still planning our west/east Northern States road trip sometime within the next couple of years so will make sure Burlington is on our route. After our Southern States road trip next year, we shall be flying up to Chicago for a few days ... probably around 1 May ... if any of you happened to be in town ... ?
