Hi, all. My family and I will be making a 3 day stop in Las Vegas this September and we have narrowed down our hotel choice to the Las Vegas Marriott or the Renaissance. I am a Platinum member and we are looking for quite, space and good service from the hotel. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

As a plat I think you will get better service at the Ren.

I agree with curious one.  I would choose the Renaissance.  I have stayed there many times and have been treated well each time.  Be aware that it is across the parking lot from the convention center and draws the business crowd.  Also, it is a good distance (no walking) to any casino's). Nonetheless, this would be my choice over the Marriott.

I agree that the Rennaissance is the better choice for the reasons already given. I have also found they offer frequent deals including a stay 2 nights, get the 3rd free fairly often.

I've stayed at both and I found the service to be excellent at both, but I'l give a slight edge (in service) to the Marriott.  The Ren is a much newer hotel and the experience is totally different.  I don't think you'll go wrong with either.

    Enjoy!

I just got back from a four day stay at the Renaissance and loved it. I was upgraded to a suite and found it to be just as nice as any suite on the strip. The bathroom was huge and the walk-in-shower was the best.

One of the hotels best features is the close-in garage. Not having to wait for valet parking is a real plus at this property. Elites get free breakfast in the main restaurant, which is the Envoy steakhouse. I had dinner there one night and while it was good, it didn't wow me.
