Matt T at Boston's Custom House helped make our first trip to Boston very special. We met Matt about 5 minutes after we entered for our stay. He was the acting concierge that day. When we told him that we had never been to Boston, he gave us some very helpful basic info. He answered all of our questions, suggested ways to spend our 3 days, explained how to use the T etc. His enthusiasm made us feel very welcome and his knowledge helped us make our plans. He also recommended several activities at Custom House which were very entertaining. We saw him several times during our stay. He always had a smile and a pleasant greeting. He also took a few moments to chat with us each time, asking how things were going and if there was anything else he could help us with. We thoroughly enjoyed the Tea Party that he hosted one afternoon. The teas we tried were delicious and he presented some information on the varieties as well as some history of Boston. When we were ready to leave we spoke with him one last time and discovered he has only been doing this job for 3 months. Matt T most definitely exemplifies the Marriott Spirit to Serve!
