I have stayed in the Marriott Gateway Hotel near the Atlanta Airport each week for more than a year. And though I have found many of the associates go out of their way to make it my "home away from home", I have noticed one particular employee who exudes the Spirit to Serve each and every week. Mattie S. is the most courteous and professional front desk associate that I have ever encountered. Her pleasant disposition, prompt and friendly service separates her from many of her work colleagues. I can best sum up her service with the phrase "consistency", week end and week out. Many hotels can provide excellent service some of the time, but only a few can provide superior service over the long haul, and Mattie has risen to the few in those ranks. My congratulations to her, the management and staff of the Marriott Gateway, they are a class act.
