Legoland is ne of the VERY best place to take kids under 12. We went there 3 years ago when our kids were 2 and 4 and had a GREAT time. We've been dying to go back ever since and finally are going over this spring break. This time we plan to spend 2 days...1 was not enough last time. We spent time in San Diego, Carlsbad and Newport Beach. For beach fun, Newport was the best!

Very interesting. I am thinking of taking my two year old.

    Will he enjoy it?

    where exactly is it?

Legoland is good for younger kids--fun, but less crowded/busy than Disneyland (love that too of course!).  It has amazing displays of legos, entertainment, kiddie rides, playground, train, water play area, food, and shops.  Carlsbad beach is supposed to be a great beach, haven't been there yet.  There is a Marriott Residence Inn at Hotel Circle that makes it convenient to also go to the Wild Animal Park (also good for a 2 year-old).  Legoland is about 30 minutes north of San Diego Airport.
