I am getting spammers sending me private messages through the Marriott Insider page. Has anyone else encountered this? What can be done to stop them through the lo-gin process? It should only be Marriott related topics and a way to prevent junk and spam from being introduced here. I tried to forward the spammer info to Community Manager but alas, his Inbox is full.
Many of us have been approached, and it will probably take till next week for Marriott to figure out what happened. Like you, and many others, I got a private message that was not right for this site.
I have no idea how it happened, but it sure violates the MI site and those who respectfully use it.
I got one too. I agree. I too tried to notify Marriott but the mailbox was full. Marriott must do something about this. Outsiders are reading our comments when we think we are just communicating among us.
I didn't realize that Insiders was opened up. I can read messages without logging in but cannot post without it.
