Night/Point Posting on account?

How long should it take for nights/point credits to get posted to your account?

(For each location tag, you will be guided through a 3-step process to add (1) a city and a state or a city and a country, (2) a Marriott brand, and (3) a Marriott hotel.)

The last two stays I had, one at a full service Marriott and one at a Courtyard, the points were posted within 2-3 days, max.  I don't know if this is something that can vary from hotel to hotel.

The credit card points (if you have a Marriott Visa) don't post until a few days after the billing cycle ends.

Thanks very much for the response.  We used points for incidentals, does that affect our nightly stay credit (it shouldn't right?)  Just odd as normally our nights show up almost immediately and this time they haven't yet our points are gone and MV credit card was charged, etc.  Thanks!

Huh.  Points for incidentals should not affect your nights stayed credit.  If you paid, you should get credit.  Keep checking back.  If a week or more goes by without the nights credit posting, call the Platinum Elite line to get it straightened out.
