Minneapolis with Kids

Going to Minneapolis with kids?  Try the Depot Renaissance or Residence Inn for the WaterPark on the property.  It's loud.  It's wild. It's wet.  But the kids love it.

I would concur with the location for kids. The two hotels, Renaissance and Residence Inn are actually connected by the Waterpark. So, if you're looking for a budget, opt for the Residence Inn.

The waterpark is small by most Minnesota/Wisconsin Dell standards but, it should be most kids (up to early teens) entertained for a day. However, there are a number of other attractions within easy walking/driving distance for the older crowd.

I agree with this recommendation.  We hosted a wedding reception at the Marriott Courtyard at the Depot (connected to the Residence Inn).  Food and service were outstanding, and the young families that attended (all of which were out of town) loved the water park.
