Dining in the Seattle Airport

If you have to get a bite to eat at the Seattle airport, I recommend Anthony's restaurant. Great seafood! Sit at the counter nearest the cooking grills and stoves. Ask to meet Lawrence. He is one of the cooks and he's quite the character. He is formerly from Chicago and knows all the old joints. Great conversation and lots of fun. Great way to kill some airport time.

Absolutely agree, Anthony's is excellent - after a hard week on business, its nice to get a high quality fresh seafood meal prior to taking the red-eye back home, and this is the best. If you don't have much time, go around the corner and get Anthony's take-out - the fish tacos are terrific.

Anthonys is a local seafood chain.  It is a cut above the food court fare, but don't expect fine dining.  It's, at best, average quality with above average prices.

Where in the airport is Anthony's? I don't think I have ever seen it.

The North satellite is very slim on food. Burger king, Starbucks, a bagel place whos name escapes me, and a bar with sandwiches and alike.

The bar does provide a bit of unintentional humor. If you walk by the entrance look down there is a sign posted at just below waist level. It says "No firearms allowed" That bar is a train ride and a 1/2 mile past TSA security.

I can't tell for sure why, but that tickles my sense of the absurd evertime I see it.

I haven't eaten there in several years, but there used to be a great diner/coffee shop right outside the airport. Come out of the airport, turn right on Highway 99 and then make a right on 188th street. The restaurant is on the left right after you turn. A little dingy the last time I was there, but great food.

    Thanks for the tip!

Coming from the Marriott nest to Pike street market, this place was great before my flight back home!

The fresh Salmon was fantastic.  The cedar plank rendition was memorable.

    Thanks for the recommendation.
