I understand your frustration, but it's most likely a company pretending to be Marriott. They are scammers and you should not give them your credit card number, ever. Pressing number 2 doesn't work, if anything, it actually communicates to them that you really believe it's a real telemarketing call.
Best way is to **** them off: make the conversation as long as possible (you're interested, say that you're interested in upgrades and willing to pay for), but when they are ready for your credit card, just say you'll continue to waste their time as long as they keep harassing you. You'll be off their list in no time!
